I just read on a site where it advises you to remove the lead weights on shipped plants and not to use them in your aquarium. Is there a danger to the fish, re: lead poisioning?

I would imagine that the plants I picked up yesterday would not have lead weights, although the sinkers are really malable. What are they made of? Anyone?

I hope they are using the term "lead" loosely. Why would they even manufacture these if they thought you'd use them in a planted tank tht just might contain fish?
