Does anybody in the Northeast (Pennsylvania area) keep any native aquatic plants or know any links where I can get info on them?

Thi is an interesting idea, however, doesn't Pa., get a cold spell in winter?
I was wondring about a northeastern biotope tank, and wether anyone has done it. I saw a tank done as a Texas biotope with plants and fish collected from the area, its part of the biotope tanks in the Aquatic Gardener's Association contest. Very nice. My concern with this idea is how northern plants cope in a tank. Dormancy period? etc....

hmmm I didn't think about a dormancy period...I'll have to ask my botany professor and see what he thinks.
