Hi,
I purchase a few plants from Petsmart a couple weeks ago and I would like some opinions on whether this is an aquatic plant if possible. I cant recall what it was called. It seems like the leaves are getting soft and just falling apart unless it is one of the fish but I have not seen them even go near the plants. In the tank is 3 Giant Danios and 4 platys right now. I will try to post a picture. It seems my file is too large but could email you a picture if you know plants.
Thank you

Thanks for the link Pl*co.
It turns out that this plant is a Brazilian Sword, which is NOT aquatic. So I guess I need to take it out. Thats the last time I buy a plant from Petsmart
Thanks again,

Spathiphyllum is not a submerse aquatic. It will grow well as an emerse bog plant, but submerse it will die slowly but very surely. Take it out of the tank and pot it up to be a house plant - it is super easy and has long-lasting flowers (spathes).

I did the same thing, only I bought a plant at Petco. I can't remember the brand name but it has aquatic in the title. Tricky buggers, they are... It said "snail free" which enticed me. I should have guessed that it was not aquatic, as it was in a tube with its roots encased in some gel crap. Anyway, after I bought it I looked it up and found out that it was not a true aquatic plant and that it would rot in the water eventually, so I got rid of it.
