I resently tore down my FW tank (beard algae). Was forced to nuke tank with simizine and bleach. The tank is now restarted. I have 16 large sword plants and LOTS of new plants (dwarf sword, sag, val, crytps, ect.). I will not be adding fish for maybe another month or two.
Question--With so many plants do I need to do water changes?? I use to do 20-25% changes every week when I had lots of fishes.

Ok, this answers a question I had in your other post.
I would suggest that you check locally for an outlet where you can pick up a bunch of Water Sprite or similar floater to shade and use nutrients.
In addition, get yourself some N (GreenLight or Spectracide Stump remover) and P (Fleets Enema at the pharmacy) to balance your other nutrients. Lose the Fe+ for a while. IMO, at this point it is not necessary and will only complicate things for you. It should be in your trace mix in adequate amount.
Dose lightly for a few weeks, crank up the CO2 to 30ppm or even higher while there are no fish present, but don't forget to lower when you introduce them to the tank.
