Hey all... I've got a TINY little aiptasia growing on my new live rock...

It's only about a milimeter or two in diameter.
I've heard people use superglue gel to glue corals onto rocks, do you think I could touch the aiptasia with the tip of the superglue tube, making it retract into the rock, then superglue over it, sealing it in the rock? Would that kill it?

I wouldn't. First, the aipatasia are amazingly hardy--if you didn't completely seal the hole, the thing would just crawl out. Second, superglue won't 'hold' forever. Just get some kalkwasser, make a paste, and cover the aiptasia with the paste. Be careful not to get the paste on desirable corals, as it's lethal to them as well. And, keep an eye out--if you have one, you likely will see more as time goes by.

I put a couple Peppermint shrimp in my tank, just incase. So far they have been eating all kinds of stuff I don't want them to. I want to trap them out and take them back to the LFS and throw them in the main display tank (he assured me they were safe) :duh:

Peppermint shrimp are a gamble... they might or might not go for them. I had two that did... then traded them... 5months later i bought 3 none of them did. The one i have now doesn't either.

Those look like majano anemones, little different from aiptasia. I use Joe's Juice to kill all my menace anemones, it works great. You can get it at www.marinedepot.com or www.premiumaquatics.com, probably alot of other places too, I've just ordered it from them before.
