Okay, so what really unique item did you find for that special someone on your list? Can be your better half, kids, friend, whatever. A unique item, something that really says something about that person, not an iron or a toaster or a riding lawnmower
My husband is a WWII buff, watches the History and Military channels, and has a big respect for some of the master tactitians on both sides. One of his favorites is Panzer General Heinz Guderian. For Christmas I bought him copies of Panzer Leader and Achtung - Panzer! and an authentic WWII 2nd Class Iron Cross (1939).
Man, did it take a lot of research! I know nothing of this stuff. There are a lot of people selling 1813 Iron Crosses (WWI) on eBay and labeling them as WWII (1939). I ended up paying a bit more and buying from a militaria site instead of taking my chances on eBay.
I hope he likes it!
