In your own opinioun which cichlid in the world is the toughest AND FOR ALL THE DUMMIES THIS IS JUST A RETORICAL QUESTION!!!!!!! :rant2:

The Dovii and the umbees when adults. I dont know which is tougher lb. for lb. though. I still wonder which is tougher. I posted a thread about it and ask people for their experiences and the Mod closed it up.. How nice of them huh?
 
If this is just for fun, I will move it to the General Chit Chat. And I'll play. Define "toughest"? Specifically what are you asking?.

The peacock bass in S.A. Used to be called cichla ocellaris. I'm sure the taxonomists have changed it by now.

If we're going to humor the guy then my vote would be for the Vampire Tetra.
 
Biggest in size would be...at least in CA/SA cichlids wither the Dovii or the Umbee depending on where you get the information. By "baddest"...what? Define the term.
