weird snails spawning??????

in my 20 gal,(see signature) i have these odd, golden semi- see through shelled snails that are everywhere. they bleed red, cuz i saw when my fish got one when it roled over. they have a tall, spiral shell. any hints??? i would take pics but my sis took camera : (
 
yah i think its the flat spiral snail, just the ones in my tank are a little different. just unique, still that species, thanks!

(ps i have 2 new fish! pop tart(M) and peach(F) who are sunset gouramis.
