These photos were shot using the external flash set on slave and placed behind the fish. The technique helps seperate foreground from background. You can see the difference most with the Gold Male Managuense and the Zonatum. Not so much with the others.

Interesting how the light refracts off th gold when head on...but on the latter, the side of the fish is illuminated more making the color contrast more intense.
