Just wondering if anyone has any experience with fiddler crabs? I've observed mine "smoking" a few times. What is this?

I would think it's heat from the light in your tank causing evaporation to mist off their shells... pretty weird.

No, I don't think so. It's a heavy thick almost milky looking smoke that seems to come out of there mouths. And, one will smoke for a while then stop. It's not constant. At first I thought that it was the males releasing sperm, but then I saw a female doing it, and I really don't know if that's how they mate anyways.
