To all of you who have been so supportive and understanding and caring through "Little Man" s trials and tribulations, he has officially received a strong, healthy bill of health!!! He's out in the pasture with mom, nursing, pretending to eat grass (no front teeth yet, LOL), running circles around her, and taking naps. It is a beautiful sight to see, especially as this is the first time in years there has only been one foal on the farm. We figured he had an 85% chance of making it (had to be realistic); ah, the will to live in all creatures great and small!!!

Your empathy, relating stories, and words of encouragement went straight to the heart, and I thank you so very much!! XOXOXOXOXOXO

[By the way, I hope I didn't offend anyone for doing a smackdown on the trolls. I'm a pretty understanding human, but am losing patience for purposeful stupidity as I get older!)

ALRIGHT! I'm glad the little feller is gonna make it...must have been all your love and attention!

So now that the little guy is outta the woods, what's his official name gonna be? Will "Little Man" stick? Keep us posted! And we need more pics!

Yay Rosi!!! Glad to hear he's outta the woods!! ;)

"Little Man".

I kind of like that!

Congrats!

congrats Rosita.

You must name him now and give both him and Yourself (is this even possible?) a hug from me!

Take care!

Congrats! It is nice to find out that I am not the only person here with a passion for both horses and fish!

Congrats on the boy! Now you need to pick a good strong name (I personally would use Little Man as a barn name or just a call....my Gypsy colt I call him Little Man all the time yet his name is really Johnny :) ). Congrats with the baby. My good mare Heidi (the one in the far left of the Avatar) left on Sunday to be bred, so I should have a little munchkin next March :)! SO glad to hear the great news....yeah to Little Man!
