I was just curious about Malaysian Trumpet snails. I know they are live bearing snails....Does anyone know there cycle of giving birth or how many at a time or anything. I have a desktop aquarium on my ( of course) desk...It's a 2 gallon tank. All it has in it is some gravel and one rock decoration. I dropped 1 MTS in yesterday to come home about 13 to 14 hours later and find more then 1. The adult is there and 3 little ones. Any help will do....

I have lots in my 60g tank. It all began with 3. I don't know at what intervals they have babies... however all it takes is one in their case. I find they do a great job at keeping the glass and decor clean. There is an article on snails in the Article Forum. It is a good read.

i got about 20 from a friend and placed them in my discus tank. that was about 2 months ago and i never see them the most i see at a time is one or two.

Wait until the lights are out and use a flashlight. MTS hide and only come out at night if there are predators in the tank.
