blood parrot dying or sick?

hi i gota a nice blood parrot today and he looked nice swimming around with his tank mates. and right when i got home he goes to the bottom eats from the bottom but doesnt swim alot. i was wondering if this is normal? all my test come out normal.

29 gallon
3 danios
2 daffidil cichlids
1 blood parrot [ pink ]
 
Normal behaviour for a slightly stressed fish. I assume you eased him into the tank and let him ajdust to the water conditions? If so he should be up and about in 1-5 days i'd say. Turn the light off until tomorrow to relieve stress if you are worried and make sure the water is in good condition.
 
thank you for the info ill do that. i did that acclimating or however you spell it for about 35 -40 minutes and then let him in.
