Well first off let me give you an idea about my tank as to help with any answers that I may get. 75g FOWSLR(Some Live Rock), with no algae problem. I've got a 24" Snowflake Moray Eel, a Yellowtail Blue Damsel, a Blue Damsel, 1 CBS, 4 snails, and 1 hermit crab.
Ok so now to my question. I found this today floating behind my sump inlet on my tank. It looks like some sort of "membrane" where you can see through the top half of it and the bottom half of it isnt so clear. Its got some stuff hanging off one end of it and I'm trying to figure out if its something that I want to leave in the tank or if its a dead snail that has come out of its shell or something(wouldnt think it would be clear/see-through though). This is my first SW tank(yes a newbie, but I've done quite a bit of research but still need more) and any help would be great. I will try and attatch a pic but its hard to get a decent shot because I have the worlds worst camera. I will need to pick up a nicer one for the future.
Also, all my levels are good, pH - 8.2, Ammonia - 0, Nitrite - 0, Nitrate - 2-5ppm, and water temperature at 78degrees.
Any answers that you may have would be great, thanks.
