hey im pretty sure that the Germans still use elephant nozes to monitor their water purity. it has to do with the ammount of electrical pulses and what not... but its still cool.

ooh, that's VERY cool. I've never heard of that. I love the electric fishes. That ability means they have to be intelligent, too, to deal with the information. So they're very personable and fun fishies! Can't wait to have an elephant nose. It was the first to make the list of "First To Get Before I Die".
