Hello!!
Okay so this is my first group i've joined on the internet. whooo Hooo!

To look at me you'd never guess how many tanks i have in my basement and what i could tell you about the creatures in each. :D

I could take all night talking about them all but i joined this web circle for one reason and one reason only. CRAYFISH!!!

I bought a Blue Louisiana Lobster a few years back...she magically gave birth one day....and ever since then i've had a constant outbreak of them in my largest tank. :D They are however not very blue due to the fact they are most likely inbred. So i am on the hunt for a young VERY BLUE mate for my girlies.

I also have WHITE CRAYFISH.....i have been trying to research more of these creatures but apparently they are RARE?? so....how rare are we talking about? Cus i have a bunch and i'm curiouse weather they can breed with the blue lobsters??

But yes...i am the new Lobster Lady in town. Wanted to just say my hellos and welcome everyone who knows anything about Lobsters/Crayfish (especially white ones) to say hello or drop me a line. Or if you just feel like chatiing about ANY sort of fishies. Like i said....i have many tanks and i've only chosen ONE species to represent on here right now so feel free to ask me about any of my other pets ;)

Peace :cool2:
and i look forwrad to hearing from you all!

Thanx for the note and the welcome! ;)

Yes i do have pictures of my baby lobsters and of my White Crayfish but i don't know how to post them.

I'll work on it but if you know any tips i'd love to have any help i can get.

Take care!
Peace
~Jay~

Hi dread, to answer your question, no white lobesters will not breed with blue. i myself have blue and white lobesters in a 55 gal tank and they stay on opposite sides from eachother, lol. the white are quite rare but i have a LFS that gets them in all the time, this is the only place i have ever known to carry theses beautiful creatures. good luck with the crayfish......

Actually they will there P. Allenii comes in a white form and a blue form so if you have a white and blue of opposite sex they will breed.

P. Alenii are the most comon found in the LFS.
