Injected CO2 System Recommendations

The above has lots of things you don't necessarly need like the pH controller. But overall it's not a bad package for what you get. And you'll still need to purchase a CO2 cylinder somewhere locally.

I always say keep thing simple and cheap.

1. Azoo Regulator - drsfostersmith.com ~ $90
2. Glass Diffuser (maybe a Rhinox 5000 for your tank) - aqmagic.com ~ $25
3. 10lb CO2 cylinder - found locally ~ $70-90

Total Cost: around $170 - $200

that seems pricey. i been able to get 2 co2 set ups for 100 bux each. i know everywhere is different but still. i also went with a 10 lbs co2 tank. it was just a little more and i had the space.
what exactly did you buy??? I'm looking into this also, thanks!!

I'd highly recommend the aquariumplants.com regulator. I've used a couple of them in the past and it is by far the best I've used. If you don't want the whole kit you can always just buy the regulator and reactor from them and pick up a timer from your local hardware store. The ph controller is a nice safty net but its not necessary as long as you monitor your ph regularly (I recommend using a ph pen) and use a quality regulator w/ needle valve (such as the aquariumplants.com regulator).

I hope this advice helps and you can avoid the same mistakes I made in the beginning.
