Sadly, over the course of 7yrs, one by one I lost the 3 of my SAEs. They were in my same 55gal planted setup the whole time. All I can figure is they succumbed to me not quarantining properly for new additions, which were far and few between.
As much as they were a family favorite given their activity level and personality, I wouldn't keep them again in anything less than a huge community aquarium. Huge to me is a 6ft or larger tank.
