I have posted before to ask whether it is possible that some small Gephyrochromis lawsi are spawning. After a bit of researching, I found that they are supposedly sexually mature at the size of 1.5".

Anyways, I decided to separate the only Gephyrochromis that I had (which seems like a female & a male). After moving them, the male started the wriggle dance in front of the female. The female started to pick at the egg spots on the male.

Attached is the pic of the male (about 2.5") and another pic which shows them both. In the second pic, I would have to say that the top is the female. She usually looks brown and black, though.

Hopefully they do spawn some time soon :)
