Joined just yesterday, and only fairly new to the aquarium hubby. So far I have 2 emerald cory cats, one pleco, two glofish tetras, one neon tetra and two (soon to be more) guppies that share a 25 gallon tank, and one 3 gallon hospital tank currently occupied by a ghost shrimp. I'm hopeful that there will be more tanks and plenty more fish in the future!

Thanks for the tip! Had about 6 of the neon tetras, only one managed to not die of the ick. If my tank can hind them, I'll do it! The glofish and the neon tetra seem to be schooling together at times. Wish I'd read up that they need to be in bigger schools! The glofish aren't too cheap lol.

Welcome!

Also, you can get regular zebra danios to school with your glofish, they are the same species just a different color and will school together. That should save you on the price point of those fish to be able to get a good size school going.

Welcome and Warm Greeting...
When it comes to fishkeeping, seeking out information before making a purchase is usually recommended.

What kind of pleco? If it is a common pleco you should already consider a much much bigger tank within the next year or less.
