I would use mesh but I don't want stuff to clog the koralias so that it doesn't stir/push it to the filter. I'll see what mesh I can find if I decide to ignore the stuff that may get onto the koralia.

Male perc. keeps on hiding. I see it once in awhile. Always see the female though. New percs. should be here before or on Saturday if they don't get delay again. Alpha gastromyzon is being very mean to everyone. Chases even the sewellias when they get on his rock. Everything looks well so far. Still have to find some mesh for the powerheads when I am off school and work on Sunday. Nerite snails are laying too many eggs on driftwood, rocks, filter, powerheads, and even the glass walls.

Wow, just saw two sewellias try to fight the alpha. Fat alpha gastromyzon stuck in the middle.

Received my babies today. They all made it but not sure how many males and females I have as they are still acclimating in the bucket...Photos of them in the red bucket.





For some odd reason when I took the photos, all the gastromyzons were hiding and the sewellias went crazy. Not sure what happened but it was just weird. The suction cups keep coming off on my input so the gastromyzons hide behind it.

I have 3 female and 5 male percs. So far, doing well in the qt tanks.

Just a video of my fat alpha gastromyzon and sewellia. The sewellia always loses then tries another day to be the top loach in the tank (sorry for the brightness and no noise as my dog was barking).

Well I think I lost a male. Can't find it in the qt tank. Still have 7 (4 males and 3 females) perc left. Tried the Repashy food but the loaches are the ones eating it so far. The percs. look to be only grazing on the algae.

Took out the tiger lotus and nerite snails. Might get some assassin snails to eat the ramshorn snails so I don't have to pick them out. Not a big issue though.

Loaches lookin' good, I was going to ask if those were nerite eggs, I guess so. Fingers crossed your missing perc is just a really good hider.

Is your QT tank as mature algae/biofilm-wise as your display?
That cteno is sweet, btw!
