I've been adding some Cattappa leaves to my two planted tanks, enough to slightly stain the water.
I have two questions. One, will the added tannins inhibit plant growth? I have lots of low and medium light plants. My PH is still currently neutral, tds is around 150 ppm.
Also, would Otos eat the decaying leaves? I'm removing leaves now as they get slimy and break apart because they make a mess.
