Would Pleco's eat Celery?

    I know they eat cucumbers, Zuchini and lettuce. Just wondering if they would eat Celery?

    I assume they would, but I wouldn't feed it to them. I believe that the nutritional value of celery is so low that it takes more energy to attempt to digest it then you get in return. At least that is what I have heard (for humans anyway).

    My plecos seem to enjoy the occasional banana slice, believe it or not.

    Thats not real unusual. I had silver dollars that loved banana as well.

    My loaches even enjoy nibbling on the bananas as well.
