Brackishwater Species Profiles

While most species kept in the aquarium live in fresh or salt water, there are some species that can live in a little bit of both. In other words, these species are ones that live in brackish water. Below are care sheets for fish that appear elsewhere in the freshwater listings, but can also live in brackish water, which is why they're listed here. Most of the below species come from the miscellaneous group of fish. A lot of species listed below aren't to be considered strictly brackishwater fish, and can live quite happily in freshwater as well.
