Mafia #6.....The Play

*Swayde decides to go back to bed for awhile today. She is so relieved that she did not cost the town their lives with her decision last night. The weight of all the stress lifting off her shoulders feels really good. For the first time in a few days she feels like she can really relax a little bit and sees a ray of hope for this town*

Now mee-mee is vig, does this statement imply that you are innocent... maybe. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I'm still keeping an very close eye on you.
OK, fellow townies, if Ogre is also Mafia then we have to play it smart. I imagine now a lynch train with mostly Mafia on it will start forming, but I trust you to watch my back. Really, why would I have been running around trying to get pple not to lynch Swayde or Z if I was Mafia. I would have just ridden one of the bandwagon that were quickly forming for Z and Swayde. And I guessed that BKW was the detective a couple nights ago when Ogre was trying to form a lynch train on Sploke. Ogre said that he thought all 3 on the snitch's 2nd list were Mafia, including BKW. And when I refused to vote with him on Sploke, he immediately called me Mafia. I explained that I thought Sploke and BKW may be townie powerplayers from RB's descriptions. But this is what he thought of them:

I guess it's obvious now that sploke is not a town power-player and then very likely mafia.

A palm pilot to e-mail Mafia buddies? So why did you believe him yesterday Ogre? You're making no sense to me.

Geez, Plantling, what's so hard about this? I changed my mind. bkw came out as the detective. I gave a reasonable description of his activities and some good information... besides we didn't have a choice, we either believed him or the game was over.

I would like to point out that at the time, you agreed with me and voted for charlie too... within 3 minutes of my vote.
If I were Mafia and suspected those guys to be powerplayers for the town, I think I would have put out hits on them maybe even without investigating first. But instead I defended them and again yesterday when BKW's name was brought up as a possible Mafia suspect, I stated I thought he was the detective because I didn't want any lynchtrains forming on him. And if I were Mafia, why would I have wanted Swaye to believe BKW and switch her vote from Z to Charlie. If JoAnd and Swaye and Z wouldn't have voted for Charlie, then the Mafia would have tagged on to Z and today, it would be GAME OVER. Your logic is very flawed, Ogre. Do you care to explain?

I've read the above paragraph 5 times and have no idea what you're trying to say.

If you're saying that you should be declared innocent for not voting for bkw and zsand, then no, I won't do that.

Look, I'm willing to bet that at least one mafia voted for charlie... maybe more than one. There were seven votes for charlie... actually that implies that one innocent didn't vote for charlie... wait, it was mee-mee.

That makes no sense either. She unvotes charlie and votes Zsand, then kills DD!??!?

Anyway, Plantling, if you want me to declare that I think you are innocent, then I won't because I'm not sure. Likely innocent... maybe.

Of course, this entire post is tailor made for a mafia looking to get into the good graces of the town.

And yes, KOTD, I tried to get you voted out because I thought and still think you are Mafia. And if you were a fellow townie, why didn't you vote for Charlie? Because he was one of your own is what I'm thinking.

Mad, Why MUST it have been DD that was the Don or secret identity. We know it wasn't Ice, but it could have been DP, Mike, Coler, etc... that didn't have to be last night. It could have been anytime, unless I have misunderstood the rules.

OK, so sway likes JohnLarson and Jensons... Jensons who did not vote for charlie...

I would be perfectly happy lynching Jensons...

what say you all?

You might be right that it was another night, but I've been focusing on rb's counts. The fact that he has DD 'dreaming calmly' or something like that is something that I'm looking at also....either way though, I think we got the Don.

Still way too early in the day to start casting votes IMO. People need to reread what transpired yesterday. In addition to Jenson's, Sploke didn't vote for Chas. Claimed not to understand the urgency as Charlie would die an untimely death anyway. Huh? I believe that priority of deaths goes

Town lynch
Vig hit
Mafia hit
Untimely deaths

The town needed to hit mafia on the lynch....If not, it's game over before Chas gets croaked by RB. To say let the 'sure thing' die an untimely death doesn't make sense. It does townies no good at that time.

We were 8 to 7 last night and lost 2 Innocents to 1 Mafia so technically the game should be over. We HAD to have hit the Don at some point. Now whether it was by Mee-Mee's hit or not, we don't know. I really thought DD was Mafia so I can understand why Mee-Mee wouold hit her IF she was really Innocent. On the flip side, if both were Mafia I think hitting DD and having her show as Innocent would really shake things up for us because she sure did look guilty. I think we need to take a good look at anyone who didn't vote for Charlie, especially Jensens and Johnlarson. I do not believe KoTD is mafia for what it's worth. Mad is also suspicious again to me. Ogre, I don't know. I am still not comfortable with your very quick trust in BKW, but am willing to overlook that at this time.

Likewise sway. I noticed about half way through yesterday we were being played against one another. That was the reason for my odd questions. Glad to know there are a few I can 100% trust now.

We have to presume someone was killed that was Mafia, IE Don, Hidden Identity.
SO that would leave 7 Townies, 5 Mafia
I think DD was the Don.

Three known Innocents: Myself, Swayde (sorry again), Mee-Mee.
9 Unknowns.

The numbers are looking better.
