Mafia #6.....The Play

I have already read every post ya said about JL....and I was thinking the same thing....

and I am still wondering about ogre...but I will keep my vote for JL....for I do really believe he is Mafia....just like I think Ogre is Mafia also....sometimes ya can compare posts from past posts...and when ogre was Mafia in the other games he did the same thing here....so if Jl is Mafia, then I think Ogre should be the next one we take a real hard look into...and if the game is still going on tomorrow I will personally quote every post he did that he acted like in the other games.....


So my vote still sticks...

That's pretty much what I am thinking as well.

Either way, it's been an exciting game and it is still just a game =)

Wow, this a good mix of true and fabrication. I also like how Mad refers to himself in the third person... almost like it's scripted... ? Anyway, I'll say a few things about it in red.

I know that this is going to cause an uproar, but have other folks been watching Ogre's game? Although I've been defending it, today I've really begun to think that he's mafia...

Day 1 Nothing special...only thing interesting that I remember is he voted for MND for 5 minutes and then ended up going after Ice for no real reason. Ice accused Ogre of revenge vote? I think that the reason he went after Ice so easily is that Madcrawdad was also on the chopping block, but there wasn't a whole lot of support. He could look like he was voting Mike w/ the rest of the town then pull his vote off which was indirectly a vote for Madcrawdad.

True... up to a point. Mad fails to mention that my vote switch to
ice was after Mike already had 6 votes...

Also issues a blistering post claiming that anyone voting for JudgeMax was absoluted mafia. I also disagreed with the plan as I thought going after Judge was a distraction. There was a groundswell of support for the idea, and Ogre came down a little hard IMO. If anyone saw my post earlier, I now feel that Judge was Don, and Ogre was quick to defend as he didn't want to lose a mafia member, particularly one with investigative powers.

So... if Judge is shown to be the Don (where did that come from anyway? Why not DP, that would make more sense?), then this might be a useful arguement... no it's actually not, because a)she dropped out on her own and b) the lynch JMax still makes no sense.

Day 2 Pretty good sized lynch train for Mike and Madcrawdad...really comes on strong to defend Madcrawdad. I think it's also Day 2 where he kept posting that he was sure that at least 2 people in the game now 'knew' that he was innocent, and he was willing to stake his life on it. Not sure what that means. Also claims to know who the doctor was.

I was wrong about both. Sorry... I never would have predicted that would protect Mike after voting for him initially, which made the entire house I built fall over.

Day 3 Charlie Stubbs the snitch does some investigating, and now apparently catches me in a BIG LIE. Ogre goes bananas....how could he have been fooled by Mad? Charlie Stubbs??!! C'mon, Chas played a good game of mafia by looking like he was running around in circles (vote here, no there, back here, etc.). Now Ogre's buying in and it's time to lynch Madcrawdad...C'mon guys, let's lynch Mad.

I'm thinking it might still be time to lynch Mad... tomorrow.

Not a lot of support at the time, so it's Ice who ends up going as he's acted a little jumpy. Now seriously, is there any doubt in townies minds as to who masterminded the Ice lynching? Ogre squarely laid it at Sploke's feet in a post earlier today, but it was Ogre who tossed the 4 names out there that people had to pick from...take a some responsibility Ogre, you were the one screaming that Ice and Mad were in cahoots. Even when Ice turned up as doctor, I was still guilty?

Looking that way to me. You know why Mad? Because at the time, I was convinced that sploke was the doctor... see above. Yes, I tossed out four names, that's how I prefer to play, consideration of everyone's top three (or four) list and move from there.

I'll just point out that you voted for Ice too... as well as nick... just like most of the rest of us.

Day 4 Ogre sees that there's a lot of people now off of Mad's back, and it might look like he's playing with blinders on, so he takes a different tact.....Yup, according to rb's descriptions Mad must be innocent. Town is still in total disarray, and the 2 trains that day are Nick and Swayde.

It's called changing your mind... just like you did when you wrote this post. I did what plantling wanted and analyzed the snitch's reports.

Day 5 Town in total disarray. It's coming down to Swayde vs. Zman....guess wrong and lose. BKW reveals himself...Hooray. People switch to Charlie. BKW admits to only having read 20% of the thread, and Madcrawdad was possibly still on his mafia list. Who seizes on this and says, 'I'm voting for Mad tomorrow?' What? Thanks, but BKW said he only read 20% of the thread. And according to an earlier post Ogre is a scientist who goes with what the evidence tells him....Mee-mee reveals herself as vig and asks who to hit. Ogre steps up...'I'd hit Madcrawdad'. Okay, what are we doing here? If I bite at his bait, the town could easily be ripped apart at this point, and maybe Charlie won't get lynched after all. Why even risk it?

Mee-mee asked. I responded. She did her own thing and it's still no garuantee that DD was the Don. In fact, according to you, mee-mee screwed up because JMax was the Don.

Day 6 In one of his posts lays the blame for Ice's lynching squarely at Sploke's feet. I also deduce that Judge may have been Don, which makes Ogre's outbursts seem a little shady.

I'll vote with the town tonight, but I think we really need to consider Ogre also. I had thought that the town had a little time to mull this over, but since it looks like night will fall earlier I'll put it out there now...there's always a chance that I might not be alive tomorrow.

And I think we need to consider Madcrawdad as well.

I'm sorry mad, I'm not perfect, just picking one vote per day like you... oh wait, no you switched from sploke to Nick, to JohnLarson back to nick day 4. What's up with that?

I'm going to go back and find this Jmax thing and will see what I think of it.

It is crazy that more people do not see this. If I can just get Swayde and ZSandmann to agree on someone besides me. I think Ogre is a great choice and I am sure he is mafia. I just wish BKW would have investigated him. We would not be in this spot.

We all know this game has had some good players in the mafia. DangerDoll and Ogre almost made a clean sweep. We can still win this. There are plenty more of them still to lynch.

He got lynched for just that reason, he should have never come out and said he was the detective...but he could have gave us hints...for me coming out that is just fine also...and I think I did get a Mafia.......but that is okay, I guess...they always investigate the person who claims to be Detective and if true then byebye....I was hoping BKW was kind of bluffing...but he wasnt...

Thank You Barb....I have played every game so far...and we have only lost one game...and I do see repeat patterns....and JL does kind of repeat the pattern when he was a Mafia in one of the other games...cant remember which one though....but I did go back and reread all of his posts and compared to others, and he is still doing the same as when he was Mafia...sorry JL...being a Townie and when we had no where to look, I started with DD and then you and then ogre,,,and I have been looking at KINg and Jensons and JP...but JP still a little hard to follow...

This abscessed tooth and root canal and fever I've had have not been a total bummer hehe. I am feeling better and I got to play a LOT more than I normally would be able to =)
