It's just Shark Week on Discovery Channel, who's watching it!?

Great White Sharks, whatcha think, are they really Man-eaters?

I am nowhere near as excited about Shark Week as I was last year.

Last year the Discovery Channel had a giant inflatable shark head attached to one end of their building, and a giant inflatable shark tail attached to the other end. I got to look at the ridiculous thing every morning while I waited for the train and I could see the tail light up in the evenings. It was freaking awesome. The city isn't letting them put it up this year though. People were paying too much attention to the giant shark and not enough attention to the other cars on the road. Sigh.
 
I LOVE sharkweek and yes I am definately watching it. The greatest year for sharkweek commercials was 2 years ago when nobody would be in the water and the announcer would say "yep...it must be sharkweek". THe little kids with their floats around their waists looking at the pool but wouldn't dare go in was the best.
 
I am watching as well - though I remember some of the programmes from last year.
