i just set-up my new 120 uk gallon tank- upgraded from a 27.5g. LOVE IT!! its the best thing since having kids!! Even better, was my way of getting it....ebay....fish tanks are cheaper.....still not THAT cheap though......went to an ads sites, found a 5ft tank, fish, lights, fluval 404 (and every replacement available (just in case)), plus books, loads of spares and the most bog wood with loadsa plants coming off of them, lillies etc, for £100....yes £100!! thats $50!!

YES FRESH WATER!!! shame, however, took all the fish to the LFS, there was a rare 9" pleco, loads of decent fish, came up to £230, but the shop just give me 100kilos of live rock! so the tank just payed for itself! then dad wanted the wood and plants to put in my tank, so he bought the lot off me, for £100, so again more money, then went out got me £60 sand bucket, 2 bags of gravel, quite a few gallons of fresh ro water and a dragon wrasse (love the way they sleep under gravel, had to wake him to move him, fun finding him!! lol. enclosed is a pic of my new tank, not filled with water yet bcoz i do not weant to perform to much of a so called "water change", ill gradually raise it, its all the water from my old tank aswell

well, i only got a few mushrooms and polyps, so im using my arcadia 4 t5 lights, but its only 3ft, but all them will be directly under the lights wen its filled with water, and i will eventually get an upgrade, got 3 maxi-j (100) jets, the fluval 404 with new media, and tomorow im gunna fit my deltec 300 (soon to be 600) need some new pipes thou, so will set up a sump soon.

Sounds like a good deal!

no maxi jet made them for the deltec mpe300, and i ordered more (1) just in case and (2) for extra flow in my 27g, which was fine, i do plan on gettin everything i need, and i will definatly do it before i start stocking it properly!! for now thou, i think they will be ok

only tidyman would appologize for having fish supplies in a tank pic :) Great deal, nice tank - hopefully someday we will find one like that we can afford. Good job, tidyman!!
