Got some new fish so took pics in the tank yesterday. Not the best batch ever, was a quick shoot, no setup or anything.

My favorite fish that i own, an adult Geo Altifron, over a foot long and very much full of himself and his fin extentions.

Geophagus meridionalis, a small (5") super bright yellow cichlid, very unusual fish. I have 6 of them, both male and female.

Satanoperca daemon (male, above) and Geophagus jurupari (below), two of the 3 new fish I just got:

Satanoperca daemon female (?), another one just purchased:

Nice!

Hey if you know about geos can you give me some info on Tapajos orange head cichlids?

Do you mean Geophagus Tapajos Red? Similar species to Altifrons, just dont get that big and get nice red on them during spawning. I have a suspision that the last fish in the post is a Tapajos, it gets red spots on the forehead and is not growing as quickly.

BTW, I am selling my 4 Juvies (including that one) so if anyone is in LA it's a hell of a deal. There is a post in the buy/sell area.

great pics! Beautiful Fish! :)
