Mafia 9: The Bloody Coup

Charlie are you trying to hypnotize us with that avatar OMG!!

If the FBI got an investigation in they wouldn't of been able to "hit" plantling (thanks for that btw). This almost makes me think you are CIA and wasn't able to get with them to find out if they "hit" instead of "investigated" Emma

I thought and am still under the impression that one of the rebel teams got a hit and the other got an investigation each night. Is that wrong?

Umm, not sure how you see it as a good thing...it is a good way for them to take out CC's IMO they will know who the CC's are then hit or lynch them I do not see this as a good thing for the town myself.

Because an investigation by the bad guys that yields “Concerned Citizen” could be the other rebel team, the president, or a concerned citizen so they wouldn’t really gain munch info. The only people who need to fear an investigation from the bad guys are the Doc, the Body Guard, and the Detective from what I know. Am I wrong?

I vote to lynch Mee-mee for reasons given earlier

Mee-mee, I read your response to the case I've made for your lynching, and still don't see where you've addressed the oddity of post #246.

In post #46, you clearly show that you grasp that the score is 10 v. 10
I totally agree with you Mad...the odds are stacked against us, 10 bad and 10 good....at least the Prez shows up as Citizen when they get investigated....and so the bad guys will never who they are hitting...
plus, I work 10 hour days Sa-W..so I try to post like crazy until I have to go to bed...
The President.... Can communicate with the Bodyguard. When/if the Detective finds the President then all 3 can communicate. Will always show as an innocent on investigations by Rebels.
and hopefully we can get the CIA/FBI before they get the Prez...

This started after game 4, when someone popped into the profiles of people and pegged the Mafia, pretty much right away......

Then again in post #63 you show that you've got a handle on things. Citizens have a 50% shot of randomly lynching a rebel.
So this game is going to be as tough as last game....but it seems a 50/50 chance we might get lucky and get a Rebel....and absolutely no one come out and say what you are.....because we end up losing the important players way too early in the game...my 2 cents worth....

So why, nearly 200 posts later, at post #246 are you acting like you're now just understanding the breakdown of citizens vs. rebels?
So then it is 10 against 10....wow and we need to find all 10...now that is a wide spread 50/50...and now that I know that ...fellow CC Acvillers, we seriously need to be careful on who we lynch...becuz the doc. needs to pay close attention to the prz and bg...and the det...so we need to be on the ball and see who starts a wagon on whom...just like jo did with jp...

And then what's this last minute vote change? A change of heart? Pretty sure that you were just padding the Jo vote to ensure that you weren't lynched. At least admit it, though, it would look less 'rebellious.'
So I should change my vote to JO...since I have stated that he kind of raise red flags to me.....

Okay, I maybe dont have some type of reasoning now for voting for HN...for he is always accurate and precise the majority of the time...except when he was the Mafia and he had the Townies eating out of his hands....okay,,,and since I do have red flags about Jo...

I retract for HN and
I vote for Jo...I have stated before on the red flags

Mee-mee, please address post #246 to the best of your ability. I know it may seem kind of goofy, but to me, this is a glaring inconsistency in your game that I need to resolve, before being able to consider the possibility that you might be a citizen.

Each rebel team gets to submit a hit, Ice makes the coin toss. If their hit doesn't go thru...they get their investigation...IF THEY OPTED TO DO ONE THAT NIGHT....

Ok, now I AM confused (opps I'm not suppose to say that), but 1.)If they investigate no matter what it comes up CC? Is that what you are saying..then what is the point of the investigation..I mean hey if they get CC no matter what then yea investigate away rebels oh wait I missed the part you said they can get the Doc, BG, and Det. Ok so they CAN get something out of it. I thought the only one they couldn't get a read on is the Prez.
2.) So they can submit a investigation AND a hit each night? That doesn't seem fair (not that anything is "fair" in this game) I thought they could do one or the other, if they submit a "hit" and don't get it then too bad I didn't realize they could do BOTH each night. Wow more confusion for me...Ice you definatly made this one complicated:drool: !

I definitely agree with the complicated part and I'm not certain that I've got my mind totally around it yet. The hypothetical from last night (as I understand it) would be...

1. Both the CIA & FBI submit a hit and an investigation.
2. Ice tosses a coin to determine which group's hit goes through. Thankfully they hit one from the other group.
3. The other group's investigation goes through.

That and this format in general is why I'm especially paranoid this game. I think if the coin landed on the other side I might be gone. I will state again that I strongly believe mee-mee is on the wrong side. Those that voted for Jo last night (especially late) need to be looked at. The bad guys outnumber us now so if they get in sync at all they can sway the voting. Hence my sudden vote count. No one suspected me until I chose to speak up (which is just me and how I've always played). Look at who I've named if I get hit (and if you're truly a CC).

Lady G, not sure if you saw me mention it, but I think my browser stays open sometimes even when I leave the site. Because I'm an innocent I don't feel the need to be invisible. That's how I played it last game and I felt no need to change anything about that for this game.

from Ice's rules...

The rebel group that gets the hit completed doesn't get an investigation completed, the rebel group whose hit didn't go through will get an investigation completed
