Mafia #7 -- The Play

DD finally wakes after a long sleep, knowing that today is the day she is determined to get her flower shop back on it's feet. She's tired of having to pay off those mafia who have been desecrating the town into something she thought could never happen. Oh we fought hard to keep our ACville as a place where folks would look forward to visiting but that darned mafia still tries their slimeball tactics to make it there's. Never will it happen! Not in my book! She walks out, picks up the paper on her way to the shop and stops in her tracks..... no.... it can't be..... they are trying again, and 2 different teams this time..... she hurries to her shop...
 
ok guys, im off to get a coffee now, then i should be around a little later. Game seems to be slow moving like usual. Good to see everybody has posted now, that was fast =)

My first game (game 2), that is what I did. It did not go over real well, so I switched to the first to role play. Plus if you have some non-posters who do you vote for?

Me either...whenever I was innocent I was lynched or hit by the hunter, and twice it was because I wasn't around to defend myself...and the other times, I was mafia/rebel so I was obviously lynched because they have never won in any games I've played...
 
My voting strategy for Day 1 has always been to look for somw kind of flaw in logic. I've been mostly successful although the person I usually vote for is rarely the one the rest of the town wants to agree on. I just don't like the "Day 1 is random" line of thought. There are always hints at peoples character if you go back and read past games knowing the players' roles.

Also, early is better in my mind as it leaves more time for discussion. That said I'll toss out an early suggestion in hopes of increasing discussion. Last night when I was posting lists of who had yet to post I noticed people appeared in clusters. jpappy, joander, Mad, and sploke were one. Plantling, DC, Lady, and Sway were the other. Of course I have no expectations that these folks are all Mafia, it was just an observation.
