yes.

all the big guys you see in the 65 underneath the 90 used to be up top. So it was okay.

but the lemon barbs at that time were in the 65 and growing non stop.

I had to make a choice: switch the tanks or get rid of the lemon barbs.

I chose to keep them. If they were a common, easy to find fish, I might not have. But in my area these fish have shown up twice in the last 2 years and one of the times was when I bought them.

No one seems to carry these fish.

The lemon barbs are a bit big for the 90.

that is why I am keeping them so I can get them a much larger tank

yes. I get lazy sometimes.

but not with water changes. only with the algae scraping

I rarely clean the sides (ends) of either the 65 or the 90 because that requires the removal of the glass top in order to do it properly.

doing this means huge risk of giant fish flopping around on floor
