Any Takers?

One of the guys from my local club did some research. He found the EXACT same ad with a different seller and location, except the earlier ad has more pictures. I'd bet it's a scam.

And the plot thickens!...I think yours is the original and it's bid started off at 4,000 a much more reasonable price. You can email people on ebay right? There is still only one bidder on the strange one, perhaps i could email that person the link of the "real" one. Hmmm... I guess not. Their name is blanked out an no email link to them exists..oh well...

When you click on their username it should say "contact member", no?

Nope...I'm guessing it's because the auction isn't over yet, because I did try to do that with the other auction that had ended and the info was there, but it wasn't for the one that had not ended yet. It's probably so you can't interfere with them, bribe them, threaten them or whatever.

Someone should e-mail ebay!

Bidding ended.....I just went on to try to contact the buyer.............should I still or let it go? Either way we can watch the transaction and see if the buyer leaves feedback.

The bidding hasn't ended it's got 21 or so hours left. You must have looked at the wrong link. You could try and talk to them acting like a potential buyer and ask for details...I'd be interested in what kind of :bs: they could make up...
