DD, I believe you were trying to push the heat off yourself when Ice and Sway mentioned you. Then you mentioned me, "how come no one is looking at Plant?" How come you were not looking at me before there was any heat on you? As for helping, I have tried to say who I felt were witches and who I felt were innocent. It's not easy when you're not sure who is who. Where's your list?

no..... the heat was on you plant, some folks even had you on their list so stop even trying to twist it around.

my list of people has always been out there and I have never said for once I personally was suspect of you only that others were so try getting your facts straight before you try twisting things. You did just what someone evil would do, when people put you out as suspect, you slunk off to the corner and kept your mouth shut. You waited until the smoke cleared, didn't say a word so that no one would keep it on you.

You still have yet to show me where you helped. Anyone can lay out a list.... is that all you have done? And in that... how good was it. Did you list any of your coven on it?
 
Wow ladies, be calm. Hard to believe today is Friday, I'm working like it's a Monday :) Don't see any reason to change my vote right now, but I'll be keeping an eye on the thread for the rest of the day.

I will not vote for KOTD. I'm willing to let it be random. See my thoughts on KOTD below.

Please understand, I know my vote for KOTD will not clear me in anyone's eyes.

I think it is safe to say that the majority of the witches are on KOTD right now. If he is a witch, then those votes won't tell us much. If he is NOT a witch, then we have been well and truly had and we won't be able to tell very much.

With the majority of witches (indeed, the majority of everyone) on KOTD, I'm thinking he may be innocent. Why would the majority of witches vote for him, when there is another ready made target... me.

Scenarios:
1) KOTD - witch, Ogre - innocent :: Why would the witches vote for KOTD? There are only three voters on me right now (and DD was just a few minutes ago). I'm a ready made target, that most everyone agrees is a witch, so why put KOTD up for the lynch if he's a witch.

2) KOTD - witch, Ogre - witch :: same thing as above, except there is even a better reason to get the votes closer. Whoever voted for the lynch victim is probably going to be considered innocent.

3) KOTD - innocent, Ogre - witch :: Now, if I'm a witch, then the witches votes should all be for KOTD to protect me, but when he shows up innocent, then everyone involved will have some serious explaining to do. however, if it looks like no one will switch, then an additional vote my way might protect that witch (like what DD just did).

4) KOTD - innocent, Ogre - innocent :: This is the same as above, but the witches have it even worse. No matter what happens, there will be some serious explaining to do. Obviously, if KOTD is innocent, then the whole town is pretty much back to square one with trying to pick out the bad guys.

I think that the witches have backed themselves into a corner here. In the absence of a string town presence, they pushed for a target and everyone readily agreed. Now they are either going to lose one of their own (if KOTD is a witch) or everyone voting for him will be under intense scrutiny (if KOTD is innocent).

In reality (but I'm the only one that knows this is true) there are only two scenarios 1 and 4. Of those two, the only one that makes any sense from the witches perspective is 4.

I think we've been had and if the town survives the night, then we will be OK, because we will have a VERY good idea who the witches are.

At the risk of us being "linked" again this is a good post. While I'm suspicious of KOTD, I was more comfortable with my vote on Jpap. Note Jpap has been quiet today, making me even more suspicious. But then again, KOTD hasnt made many posts today knowing full well the town is suspicious of him. Neither seems to be trying to hard to clear their names.

You forgot scenario 5

KOTD is witch, Ogre is witch

I figure 4 witches

1 on Z

1 on Ogre because with so many on KOTD its a safe vote.

1 on KOTD so when he shows witch they have some cover

1 hasn't voted yet.
 
The good thing here is I'll get to see if KOTD is witch or not before I need to send in the spell.

If KOTD is innocent I'm using the spell on Z or Jpap.
 
Hey just got in from work. Ogre you're trying too hard. You did the same thing the other day with your multiple scenarios and those didn't work out so well either. Today was quiet, I guess everyone just wants to see what happens tonight. I think we finally have the witches in a position to burn, and we can win this. The whole thing with DD today just seems like everyone is too tense about what's going to happen Tonight. Who knows for sure, it's similar to King's BKW - Brk snafu but I don't have Witchy feelings about DD this game. My vote is staying on King, Ice do what you have to do with the last spell but I hope my efforts have amounted to something and you can see I'm a Townie. I'm going to dinner with my wife so I'm going to miss Nightfall. I'll post when I get home. I'm really eager to see where King votes, I assume it will be for Ogre which currently would tie the votes.
