Personally no, I do not think so, if that were the case then I would have to be mafia...that and the fact (at least I hope) I don't think RB would be sooo obvious. Having said that I COULD see old Mafia as being older players (more experienced not age) and new being made up of more newer players.

I do not accept the fact you say you didn't know the game had started. Yes, it threw me off that it was in "sticky" but I noticed it right off.
Then not knowing when the first night fall is???
Dp Come on you know better then this, it all make you look suspicious and you know that..yet you insist on doing it, sorry but this puts you high on my list at this point...in fact it puts you my top suspect.

I have not seen where rbishop has stated that the roles are random.

I think he has posted in the past if they were random.

These might not be random.

If not random, then I agree with some of the discussion about blueiz. Could have a power role though.

I want to throw this out there, there are two seperate mafia teams. If blueiz is infact mafia, the team they are not on will most likely want to take them out, because of the chance they are a power role.
Is this words of advice to Mafia?? That is pretty much how I took this JL.

I think we can also put too much weight on how the roles were assigned. I think we need to focus on who people are playing (or not playing) and not by what rbishop might have assinged.

There are quite a few new players, it is hard to judge by how they post.
This also throws me off JL...are you saying we should or shouldn't go by Rb or posting? First you say we should go by what Rb may have assigned, then you say in the next sentence that it is hard to judge by how they post, can you elaborate your meaning here??

I think being new does not mean one is mafia. On ewurms first game, I was all over him for being new, I was mafia and was caught.
More word of advice to Mafia???

My vote for Charlie stands. I also do not see how it is being called a train, there are only 2 votes. I think this overreacting has me very suspicious.

No I was not agreeing with JM or Charlie or Blue here, I simply was saying I thought it odd they both jumped on her with just one post from her at that point. I said nothing to agree with anyone on anything here?

The more I read back thru the thread, the less of a deal I want to make about Blueiz being a mod and maybe a friend of rbishop and more of a deal to those that are suggesting it makes them leaning mafia.

Then I wonder if those that are making a bigger deal about the players suggesting that blueiz could be mafia.

I am not sure how big of a deal needs to be made about any of this.

Now what I do find odd, is that Charlie thinks there is a train forming on him. Not on him and Judge, but on him. He has two whole votes and one was mine for role playing and being Canadian.

I saw that about LG too, I wanted to see if anything else came of it. Sometimes when you call them on something they make a good excuse. I wanted to see how it played out with nothing said and see if she contridicted herself again or not on the subject.

Charlie is a bit more jumpy this game isn't he?

It boils down to this.. He is claiming train because he is trying to defect anything coming his way.. Hoping that people will go.. OH NO don't want to be accused of jumping on a train. He knows that people are at this point watching him and I pointed out that he is stuck in some old tactics and needs to come up with something more original.

His only defense was to point out that I can't spell worth a ****. Personally he has piqued my radar with his responses and will be watched very.. very.. closely.

Definitely possible and something to watch tonight and tomorrow. Maybe thats the reason for all his role play. To keep us entertained on it and not him so much. He role played a lot last game too.

I agree about judge and charlie.

I also think DP is playing like DP. That in itself is a good reason to lynch DP.

Let me just say that

A) I agree that these are acting suspicious. Charlie very much so. JMax less so and DP is just suspicious by his very nature.

B) Let's not forget some players by giving them a free ride, DC, major, and a few others are posting, but either posting so little or so subtly that nothing is being said about them.

Until proven innocent, everyone is a suspect.

I think DP actually used this excuse in one of the other games. I guess DP never uses new posts button or it would just pop up. Its funny he posted in other GCC threads but didn't see this one. Maybe Rb should send the link with the PMs from now on. I think these are very poor excuses, but knowing DPs history I'm willing to wait him out and see him die a UD. If he is mafia/ or townie he will either have to post more or be lynched.

Actually the way its gone with giving MODS PR or making them mafia I would assume he wouldn't make Blue either one.

Some interesting posts but nothing so far that makes me want to actually place a vote.

Even being new in town, I see that DP isnt into helping us root out the mafia, hed rather make a joke of it than give real input. Hes a liability, Im leaning toward casting my vote to lynch him heavily.
