Since you are a new player you might have been able to get by with it on your first vote, but it is best that you did repost it in bold. Better to learn the right way now, then to have to unlearn bad habits later on =)

If you change your mind you are supposed to say I retract my vote on soandso and vote to lynch soandso. And that all has to be bold too, didn't want to confuse RB though so I didn't bold the example.

Hmmm, so you didn't catch me saying I was going to work?

A few thoughts

1) If DP and Charlie were on a team, I could this kind of play being coordinated by a good leader. Whichever one is lynched, we'll be so busy the next day with ll the new information that we might just forget about the other one until much later.

2) blue and JMax: The few times we've seen really major 'discussions' like this, I'm pretty sure both players have been innocent. It really takes something to draw this much attention to yourself on day one. Remember me and Coler a few games back?

3) DP: I'm halfway wondering if DP could be innocent what with the way everyone is jumping all over him. No doubt his mafia team mates wouldn't just throw him to the wolves... or would they?

These are just thoughts as I've purused the thread during lunch.

You'll see in a bit, don't know why everyone is jumping all over me for a few minor "flaws", although once I'm dead and everyone sees Dwarf Puffers was innocent. I'm telling all townies to check on who was really trying to drag me down, because although I know some of you were just following your gut, I also know some mafia were tagging along for the ride on the Lynch Wagon Express.

This post bothers me.

I will break it down outside of the quote.

1) I have thought about changing my vote to Dp also, but there are already so many on him..it worries me a little bit.

I am unsure of the "so many on him". There has been much discussion about DP's postings, but not everyone is "on him", many are willing to let him slide, because he will most likely loss interest later and not play.
I believe I have said this also, if not well I meant to..yet another reason I do not see voting him at this time.

2) Not that I don't think him Mafia, but there are more than one in this game and ppl seem to be happy to take the "easy" way and vote him.

Another case of "pocket mafia". If you think he is mafia, then why not vote for him. If you are unsure or have a stronger case against someone else, then state so. There is no reason not to lynch a mafia member.
Ummm, I think I did that..with Jmax and Jensons? We learn nothing if everyone votes the same, another reason not going with Charlie either at this point.

3) I HATE jumping on the same person that many have already voted on.

I understand not wanting to jump on a train. I think we have also learned that sticking together is better for the town than having useless votes casted.
Yes, but who's to say closer to night fall others wont see what I see and switch...yet another reason NOT to vote the same as others. Especially on night one.

4) For now my vote is staying where it is at, that or Jmax at this point.

Yes, that is what I said JL.

I have put Jmax in my top four. I also have you in my top four. With there being two teams, mafia could be after mafia.

I would expect to end up on a few lists, as EVERYONE is suspects in this game right now.

Respecting the rule for no edits on actual posts, maybe not so minor flaws, I think I've lost a lot of my skill in mafia since last I seriously played, and I don't know how the games have gone.

Opps, can't edit and forgot to add yet one other reason I am not voting DP..the fact the only game I have ever played w/ him he died UD, played exactly like he is now (except no vote) and was innocent. I would rather wait and see how he pans out before I put my vote on him. So even though I can see him as Mafia I still am not comfortable with a vote on him.

I didn't claim to be helpful. I've been tricked by every single person in this game at least once, aside from the newbies. Some of you had me thoroughly fooled, especially you, DD, Jpappy, Ice, JL, CS. Others I've read wrong, but was never sure of their alignment, so it didn't shake my confidence as bad.

I am doing my best though. If there are 9 townies vs. 8 mafia...those are fairly good odds of lynching a bad guy. But then there are 5 special roles, so basically there are only 4 townies if the estimates on mafia are correct. So someone screaming their innocence, such as JM, looks real suspicious. I personally want to be darn sure I don't follow someone onto a train that ends up lynching at best a townie, but more likely due to odds, a special role. I'd like to actually go with my strongest suspect in light of evidence, not what everyone else thinks is the strongest suspect.

I find DP's behaviour odd. The fact he had the time to make several posts in the morning, but not even say hello in this thread is VERY suspicious. And then his explanations really don't hold much water. So I've seen no reason to withdraw my vote from him, only more assurance that it's in a good spot. The last time I saw him act this way, he was in fact a bad guy and the vote I placed on him paid off big time, as far as I know, that was the only game a bad guy was actually lynched on day 1.

Most of the people who haven't voted yet, really aren't kicking in doors either. What better way to get someone's attention and kick in their door, then them seeing their name mentioned? Yes, I could be voting on more people, but I don't really see anyone else as suspicious as DP is. I'd rather be sure about my vote than to just go with the flow. And I really do worry about people who manage to go seemingly unnoticed because the last few games I've played the people I felt were most helpful and felt good about, ended up being bad guys =/

So yeah I am going to go with DP for now, I suspect he is mafia, moreso than anyone else at this point in the game. I will continue reading every single post, looking for clues, alarms and funny feelings, and I will vote and comment accordingly. And if I am bored, you'll see more fluff posts from me because half the time I really don't have anything better to do But I am definitely not going to be trusting anyone this game unless their is solid proof of innocence. Trusting people leads me wrong a lot more than suspecting people =/

I'm not speaking for DP, as he could be mafia, but he doesn't seem any more suspicious than he has in any other game....the fact that he arrived late and has posted little of substance is pretty much par for the course for DP. Like I said earlier, a vote for DP is a pretty 'safe' vote...meaning if he turns up innocent, nobody is going to come after the folks voting for him, as he hasn't been all that helpful.

Additionally, I think it's interesting that you talked about others flying under the radar in a previous post, but as soon as I pointed out all of your 'fluff' posts that you started with the 'Well lookee here, we've got 8 mafia v. 9 townies (w/5 power roles) blah blah.' Pretty much pointing out the obvious to make it look like you've been thinking really hard about the game.

With the 8 mafia v. 9 townies, pretty much every other person in the game is mafia. I know I'm not mafia, but I think you are.
