You think she's a scumbag based on what really? That the role assignments may be "tweaked"? Or that it was the first "case" available to jump on?



I would have liked this post had it not come immediately (15 minutes) behind Charlie's.

Not sure exactly where this all gets me, but I would suspect strongly (as far as Day 1 goes) that either...

A. JM & Charlie are on the same team (Mafia).
B. JM & Charlie are on different Mafia teams.
C. JM is innocent and Charlie is Mafia.

Plus

X. Mad & CL are on the same team (Mafia).
Y. Mad & CL are on different Mafia teams.
Z. Mad is innocent and CL is Mafia.

So given that the Mafia frequently try to agree with innocents, Charlie & CL would be my top candidates. The fact that there are two teams throws some added variability into this since they could be agreeing with someone on the opposing scumbag team, but it's the only thing I have to go on so...

I Vote to lynch Charlie.


Others I'm watching are the usual suspects... DD, Ice, Ogre, Lady G, JL, etc.

JM- This post reaks to me and raises all sorts of alarms. I disagree (and always have) about Day 1 being "random" or "useless". Reactions matter and you just gave one.

You are playing like you're innocent? That mean you aren't, but are trying to appear so?

Thanks for the advice. I was posting at the same time, but I've read them since and your response to Ice doesn't address all of my concerns.
Seriously? We'll be down a townie? I guess we should all just take that tidbit as gospel and assume you're telling the truth huh? Any suspects besides those that you expect? C'mon, since you think so much like Rb, you should be able to name them right?

So, you have 6 out of 8 listed? Wow, that would be a day 1 record easy! If I'm to believe or place weight on this list, I know the two Dons.

Ice did make a good point about the total numbers, but I was just saying it'd be a record this early. Of course, I trust nobody so you have to know that I'll take everything with a grain of salt. If you are innocent, there's probably a good bit of insight in it. If you're mafia, we should be able to identify most of your team by elimination. Either way, thanks for posting. The more info we have, the better.

Thank you, Its been rough, I think I got a little to secure this summer, when he went all summer without being sick, however, ..the doctors are already concerned enough that they are talking pulling him out of pre-school, which he loves. its breaking my heart. he has a field trip to a farm tomorrow, that he has to miss, he loves that kinda stuff he lost his voice, so now he just sits there and looks sad, .).I think, that this is one of the hardest things about being a parent.!
The back ground on my son is, he was born at 25 weeks gestation to the day, he was 1lb 13 oz , he spent 122 days in the hospital, and hes actually a walking talking miracle, despite all odds, besides a week immune system, asthma, and little problems with his speech, hes a normal four year old boy. Its been a long battle, and he has amazed me every day, Its hard to see him like this, I hope hes well soon, it takes a toll on you , to hear your child struggle to breath in the next room.
Thanks all for reading this, I know it has nothing to do with the game, but I feel better just getting it out of my head!

In response to me asking if DJMajor was the detective. You ASSURED me that he is not. I repeat, there are only two ways you can ASSURE me, that he is not the detective. The first is if you are the detective and the second is that you and him are on the same mafia team.
Don't Dons show as innocent to the detective? Wouldn't a Don WANT the detective to investigate them?
The majority opinion is that DJMajor is mafia. If that is true (and we lynch him to find out) then my next vote is for you J.

If a townie, I think it would be in the best judgement for the town to keep the detective hidden, especially with the odds against us now.
While I do agree that Dj, even being new, still reeks of Mafia, eh, I'm kinda not feeling comfortable about Ogre now. I will be voting for DJ at this time but that is subject to change upon further discussions.
G, still have different feelings because of the different way you seem to argue with different people but I can't get a read of if it is in Mafia sense or in a rp sense.
Blue, blue is sharp. One to watch because I do not know her gaming style but I do know she has the knack for the game.
Anyone else, I do not have a read from yet, or not a strong enough one to mention at this time.

Then If I have over fifty percent of the votes now and get the rope for another innocent on day 2. Who in town will say why they did not vote for me. I would add DP to that list. He is not completely off of the hook.

I can see DP and I think a lot of people would agree so I'll put him on too.

I don't think we were ever really off the same page, you just didn't like the way I put some things out.

It's starting to frighten me how we're agreeing. If Mad agrees to, then I know I must be completely wrong about everything.

Hold on a sec, when did I push for the detective coming out? I would never do that.

I was under the impression that the Dons would show as innocent again and the reason JMax was pushing to be investigated was because she was a don.

It is definitely in our best interest to keep the detective hidden for as long as possible. We don't know how many mafia are out there, so even if the detective has three or four names, he probably shouldn't come out.

I'd like to hear today from those that didn't vote Charlie and WHY they didn't think him mafia. Every post he made screamed mafia, as does all DJs posts. For this reason I'm a bit spooked at the prospect of voting DJ though in the end I probably will.

Ice, you do realize this sounds kind of funny? 'Everyone not responsible for lynching Chas, defend yourselves....' But as I can see where you're going with it, I'll explain.

On Day 1, I was the first to question Judge's early vote on blueiz. Early random votes on Day 1 don't bother me, as they frequently lead to discussion. While Judge's vote for blue wasn't entirely random, it didn't bother me all that much. It was a little strange, but, whatever. The main reason that I questioned her vote was to get a reaction. As I mentioned in another post, I noticed when Judge plays scum and gets a little pressure on her, she uses 'LMAO' a lot. If you don't believe it, refer to the past games....you'll see. Her first post, she started out w/ LMAO....I figure I'd pressure her a little and see what happened. Unfortunately, LG had also apparently noticed Judge's scumtell in previous games, and blurted it out early on Day 1...so that kind of put an end to my plan.

At any rate, I noticed when I posted, that Chas had just posted that he was also suspicious of blue, so I asked him if they (he and judge) were teammates.... well, it was off to the races at that point. Everyone started jumping into the pool (whether they ended up voting him or not) accusing Chas....but seriously, what was so odd about Charlie saying that rb may have tweaked the assignments and given blue a mafia role?

I try not to guess how the game mod may have assigned the roles, but others do...Charlie was not alone in doing so. Lots of other folks were in semi-agreement that role assigment may have been tweaked. So this didn't make Charlie seem any more scummy to me than anyone else.

After everyone started mentioning Charlie's name, he got spooked and brought up his untimely death plan. While I disagreed with his plan, it didn't necessarily seem like a mafia move to me.... the plan wasn't good for the town, as if Chas was innocent and died an untimely death there was no guarantee that we'd lynch a mafium that night anyway. Ultimately we could have lost 3 townies that night. But, I understood where Chas was coming from....he knew that he was innocent, so he promised to kill himself in order to free up the townies to look elsewhere for the real mafia. Once again, I don't agree with his plan, but I understood it.

Now folks were saying that his plan was anti-town, and in a big-picture sense, it was, because we could have lost 3 townies in one night. But it wasn't malicious anti-town. Had Chas been mafia and agreed to kill himself to avoid a lynch, he would have HAD TO FOLLOW THROUGH, otherwise he would have been lynched the very next day....NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. This might make sense for the mafia to do if they only needed one more day for a win, but it was Day 1. This made no sense as a mafia plan. Chas didn't seem any more guilty to me than anyone else.

As to your earlier question as to why I didn't try harder to 'save' him, I basically start everyone in the game at 'neutral.' Based on posts, people then move up the scale toward townie, or down toward mafia. While Charlie never moved down on my scale toward mafia, he never moved up toward townie either....he was still at neutral. So Chas didn't seem innocent to me, he just seemed neutral/not guilty. He still COULD be mafia as far as far as I knew. The thing that seemed really odd though is that the train on Charlie was one of the biggest I've seen (not just votes, but in accusations as well). I would have been a little surprised had Chas ended up mafia upon lynching....not shocked, though.

Neither, just looking for any "inconsistencies", thanks for replying. Never and always are scary words to me. Never always seems to prove false.

I am unsure where I have repeatedly said that I dont know how ppl play, I am a noob which means this is my first game and Im learning... Of course its true that no one can be trusted, as I have previously said, I dont trust anyone by myself, I know I am innocent.

I caught the last portion of the last game, Charlie was evil yet he had everyone decieved, looking at what is said about him here, and the overall feeling I get from Charlie leads me to feel that Charlie is Charlie and can never be trusted.

Since you decided to reference this, I decided to read back through it. You've repeatedly said that you don't know how people play, but yet you point out that Charlie can never be trusted. Isn't that true of everyone in this game? I think there's been alot more info brought out since post 410, but you reference only this? Where's your vote currently?

I believe DP is a decoy of some sort. I think hes mafia that has been sent out to draw attention away from the higher ups intentionally. The goofy "blonde" act is so obvious. If DP is innocent, why isnt he trying to help, why does he brush off the town, why was he not prepared to look for the game when he new it was going to be starting? I cant really comment on his posting style in other games, but I can say that a lot of attention has been directed toward him which could have been placed elsewhere. So, has the mafia sacrificed one of there own to get the heat off the big dogs? OR, is DP playing the part that he knows will make ppl think voting for him will be "wasting" a vote so he can bide his time?

DP--reason listed above

JM-- for being highly defensive of her innocents and stating several times that she thinks is "innocent" this time so she can say what she wants.

LG-- seems as if a lot is said that has no real meaning, a lot of questions are asked that are..well..silly on occasion becuase if the full context of what is said is taken in then there would be no question as to what is meant. Seems as if LG is trying to make ppl "slip up" through using a confusion tactic.

HN-- Just have a feeling.

CS-- Charlie is Charlie, he can never be trusted

JL-- Just have a feeling.

Here is her post he quoted in this reference, you know where she has HIGH suspesions of JP, charlie cant' be trusted and JM is highly defensive, but I am the one she voted for "safe vote".

Curious choice to place your vote on someone not on the chopping block, but which others have named. Got a list of suspects to share with the town by chance?

I see that not much more new info has popped out there while I was away. Lady G is highest on my suspected mafia list at this point. She is a bit wishy washy and seems to not be able to firmly say anything, always leaving a hole open to chnage her views. She posts a lot with no real information, almost seems nervous with a forced sense of caring about the town.

That just confuses me, but may be very Confusious-ish. Doesn't make you look guilty or innocent, just lost me. Overall, I hope you're innocent. For a "newbie", I like your style. But then again, I tend to be annoying and sarcastic or so they tell me.

That is my thought on the matter, as you have presented nothing that proves me anything other than innocent.

Believe as you will, its not uncommon to be proven what is believed to be right is most definately wrong.

So yes, he may of said something about JMax but to me he built more of a case against Blue...showing her mafianess, and even (I believe) pointed to her in his "after death" post.
