My cousin wants to buy a Penguin 350 from drsfostersmith.com for $31 and return it to Petco for $52. He thinks it isnt wrong to do so but I believe it is. Is it wrong? He says he is just taking advantage of their stupidity for not requiring a receipt.

Simply, yes. After shipping, gas, time and effort, I doubt he'll find much of a profit from it. He could put in less work at McDonalds and make the same $21. Not to mention the Karma loss. No offense, but I have faith that something will go wrong for him in or because of this endeavor.
Well, Petco really isn't losing any profit. They probably pay the same wholesale price as the website he is getting it from so I dunno.
They will only lose out on the percentage of the price that they jack up. I don't know that I would do it though because everything that he can get at Petco, he could just order cheaper at the Dr. FosterandSmiths. It kind of defeats the purpose.

Ya we are actually buying a bunch of stuff from there together so shipping will only be like $14 for everything. I just bought a bunch of stuff that came was 60+ pounds and it was $14 for shipping. He wants to do it so he can get credit for fish.
