I completely believe that Jensons is the blackmailer... I am unconvinced that it means she's innocent.

Brandy was spouting some really odd stuff...

First she asked to be investigated, then asked if she could just get a free pass by voting for DD.

Then she said some of the same things that Blue was saying about DD actually being the dectective or doc trying to draw the mafia out....even after Blue had been implicated for asking the same questions earlier.

She then outs herself as blackmailer, but apparently doesn't seem to understand how the role works... Claims that she couldn't use her power, as the vote was too bunched up on various days. As I've said in an earlier post, the blackmailer sends their PM (regarding who they want to blackmail) to rb at daybreak....how the votes are falling has no effect on whether you can use your power on a given day. The power is used in the morning before most of the votes start falling.

And when mafia is identified and the whole town is voting for them (like with DD), why the heck would it be necessary to try to draw people off, just to have a chance to use your blackmail power?

Little of what Jensons has said really makes sense regarding this, and I think it could be a convenient cover for her odd statements around the time of the DD lynching.

I would agree... Listing known innocents just makes easy targets for the mafia. Once we start naming innocents, it becomes a race to the finish for the town.

I know, it seems inconceivable that I'm not mafia.

Fair enough, I was befuddled by the sudden insistence that I was mafia. Don't want to be lynched!

I had pretty much given up at that point. I figured, why not say exactly what I'm thinking. I admit to having missed Blue's posts there. I skimmed, posted some thoughts, then went back and read thoroughly. Coulda kicked myself! Didn't seem to hurt anything much, as everyone was sure I was mafia, and not listening to me anyway. Still, dumb of me.

Cuz everyone likes to be told that they have done a good job and helped the town. Doesn't matter though, after the LadyG lynching, before her ad post, I was sure I was a goner and used it on someone I was sure was mafia. Nope, can't tell you who it was. Fat lot of good it did with the all the hubub yesterday and then the botched lynch.

But, apparently, I'm not that bright. Lol, I use most of my brain power at work. Seventh graders keep you on your toes, much more, I've found, than the high school kids I taught. I've not been myself lately, for pretty personal reasons, and thought the game would be a distraction. Unfortunately, I haven't put in the effort I have previously, and have been bad for the town. Lo siento.

The thing Ms. Jensons, is that you ARE bright, which is why I'm having such a hard time believing you. And as far as not putting the effort in, you've put more effort into this game than any that I've seen you play.

Lots of posting is not an indication of dedicated thought, just as the opposite is not true.
 
I vote to lynch blue

I'm going to take a 24 hour hiatus. I've had a very bad day and so POed I'm liable to go ballistic (the infamous Ogre blow-up)... I don't want to happen so, Ill see you guys tomorrow.

Really quiet... I didn't mean to shut down the whole game. So what to do tomorrow?

I like JMax for mafia. My next two would probably be DP and DC for no reason than they are very low posters. Seems like no one has really looked at Mad, JL, or cooldude.

Ice seems above reproach. As is Sway from what others have said. I know I'm suspicious to some, but I think I've helped a little. Jensons seems to be the blackmailer, but whether that's a mafia role or not remains to be determined in some players eyes.
