Mafia #15....The Play....

My biggest problem with Brains is Ogre..would he have put himself out there so much, knowing he was implicating a mafia? Really I didn't understand Ogres play at all this round it was like he wanted everyone to know he was mafia from the get go, I have been trying to make since of it and going back and forth with my thoughts on what all he posted.

Was he trying to get us to go after someone he knew wasn't on his team, I would say he knew to be innocent, but from the way I understand it only 4 of the mafia know each other...the rest are on their own. So did he believe Brains and Z to be mafia also, did he believe them to be innocent and wanted us to think they were mafia because he named them in his posts, are one or both on his team (this seems the less likely to me).

Anyway I am at a loss right now, DD stood out to me, blue stood out to me. I have never played with CC so I'm not sure about him, and of coarse Brains stands out, but at this point I'm not sure if it is b/c it was sooooo out there or because of his posts. Each time I read his post I think Mafia, then I think well he is on the defense the whole time, it's hard to say your thoughts when you have to defend yourself the whole time you are on.

Well, that is where I am at, right now. Going to look some more and see if I can come up with anything.

We had a 50/50 chance of getting mafia this first night.

I think that if he was part of the group in the know, then they would have at least attempted to put the votes on someone else. Looking back, I am guessing he was in the group that was not in the know and was trying to reach out to them in his "red" post.

At this point, I doubt the mafia members in the know are going to do anything too rash and are going to lay back.

Not to be totally stupid, but is weezer mee-mee's husband? If mee-mee was brains2 in the zombie game, then she might know something, but also, rbishop created the name and I am sure knows the password also.

While mystery players annoy me, I am not going to stay focused on them or get side tracked.

I voted for Lady G, and I think it was a good vote. There is something about her this game that seems a little different. Call it a gut feeling.

For now I am willing to pass on Brains2 and think there are better suspects.

Interesting the way the regular cast flew out the gate. Afraid as I said earlier I'm not going to be much help Day 1, but I will redouble my efforts upon return. This is going to be a really fun round and after sitting out the last game I feel reenergized. I want to get a vote in so I won't UD but I hope I am able to catch up on Sunday and cast a legitimate vote.

well, this seems like an interesting start, to a very fun game! I had a hard time not not being able to get on last night, lol, Stinks to be busy when there is something you would much rather do!

it is possible they could be on different teams, i'm willing to bet one did not know the other was mafia.

ogre's play was a bit off, sometimes he makes for a good mobster..but this game..as soon as i saw his "clue" to the other mafia..i knew he was mafia..

the whole thing with brains is still confusing to me, but i understand the concept of it. i'm not sure what to think of it yet..i don't really get a mafia vibe from his posts...but..other than him being weezer..there is still something off.

i don't think z is playing as his usual self either..something i have noticed with his play..he tends to post more, stay in coversations, and help the town out well when he is innocent..while when he is evil..he posts less..obviously...and doesn't really do much to overshadow his dark secret....just an observation.

i don't know about anyone else..i'm torn with my vote as of right now..

Yes I am suspicious. I can show you my weekend activities if you'd like to see them. I've read up but will be doing a better reread tomorrow. I read as quickly as I could to get in my vote before Night. My suspects would be brains as I said before Night, plantling, the non-vote on CCM and early accusations, and charlie - kicking lots of weasels but not starting the kicking, he is following more than he usually does. See how he followed you when you questioned me?

Z, are you reading the thread??? HN posted he was voting you because Ogre has stated he thinks your innocent. I posted that i disagreed, and it was possible Ogre was trying to plant roots to you. Where did I follow HN??? Where did i follow anyone for that matter??? If you weren't skimming you might have noticed i didn't "follow" the town onto Ogre, I built a case for him and then changed my vote.

Note my vote for HN was not in bold. It was a joke. Noone but you has counted it as a real vote. In fact, at the time it was posted, i would have changed my vote to the first person that told me it wasn't in bold, but noone did.

Paranoia begins to fill Charlie's mind as the darkness retreats. Even the potatoes seem to be watching him now. Hundreds of eyes, staring, questioning, and accusing all at once.
"Why are you making trouble for them Charlie??? You're going to get us all killed. Let them have the town. You mustn't question them.", a chorus of evil little "potatoey" voices.
"But I have to save Danger!!!", only yesterday, the very thought of talking to potatoes would have seemed like madness to Charlie, today it was quite normal.
"You can't save Danger. All will be lost. Resistance is futile.". The voices were less "potatoey" now, more "Borg".
"SHUTUP!!!!", Charlie tries to run, but his feet are heavy. The potatoes slowly begin to move towards him rolling oddly, almost drunkenly, their eyes never leaving Charlie.

Charlie jolts awake in a sweat. He is strangling his Mister Potatoe Head stuffed toy (without it he cannot sleep) and suddenly feels quite silly. He is glad Danger didn't sleep over last night.
