Well, i wouldn't call that twisting her words, but I suppose you might.

If I don't turn over stones I'm not going to find scum. Besides, in this town the minute I stop kicking weasels the votes start to pile on. "Charlie's playing differently this game" or "Charlie isn't kicking many weasels" usually comes about 100 posts before I'm in the noose.

I already have a scumbag in my crosshairs (HN), but theres no harm in looking for more now is there???

If you care to read the whole post jpappy, CS goes on to ask if it was a freudian slip that grins made. I saw it as CS insinuating that she said "the town" because she was not part of "the town".

Its called pressure. I wanted to apply pressure to her, to see if she cracked. More importantly, it seems to have drawn more rats out of the woodwork though.

To add, it goes with the rest of the sentence of picking out very very samll things. An innocent was lost last night for this reason..Would like for us to be careful and not jump on somoene and lynch them for something so small. Im all for kicking down doors. I did not however want to see a train for over this "the town" statement.

I agree with this Blue, and i think the best thing the pressure did was bring Pap into the mix. He has a habit of only taking part of a post and using it out of context. I think he was hoping to get a nibble, but soon as you pointed out his mistake, he lost steam. I never suggested lynching Grins because of her "the town" post
