Me my sister, and my parents went to a large store today in East Hartford...... It was like mostly for hunting. They had a buffet there. The menu looked, kinda weird. It had buffalo and elk meat there. I never tried any of those but it sound gross for me. Anyway, they had an arcade shooting gallery (I got to try a couple of rounds). They had some crossbows and some of those hunting longbows. They even had rifles and shotguns on for sale....and they were expensive..... a couple of them were like over $4000:jaw-dropping:(now that's way too expensive for me). My dad bought be a Jr. bow and arrow set for ages 12 & up. They had an aquarium filled with different kind of fish, there was a cat fish that was like 6" long, and trout, lots and lots trout. The largest one was like 10" long. When we left, we went to a fish store for about 10 minutes, then we went to Burger King since it was my birthday on Thursday, Dec. 6.:bday: Finally we left for home, it was a good trip.:)

Well, I don't like it either.

By the way, there was a 22cal rifle that was perfect for my 12 year-old self, and it was light too, but it was like $200. :D

Oh you shoot targets and whatnot. I thought you hunted.
My moms boyfriend is a cop. He is going to take me to a shooting range whenever we get around to it.

I've had buffalo and elk, and they're not bad. Leaner than beef, but pretty beef-like in flavor. The elk was just this last August. We were at a big outdoor event and a lot of the food available was stuff my 3-year old couldn't eat because it had tomato sauce in it. He loves cheeseburgers and the elk burgers didn't have a long waiting line or tomato stuff in them, so we gave it a try and my 3 year old ate a whole big adult sized burger. I especially enjoyed the elk burger because several years ago I got bit by an elk. Yes, this is a true story. I was petting an elk in a fenced enclosure on the nose and she didn't seem to mind, so I reached through the fence and petted her on the shoulder, and she decided she DID mind. She turned her head around and bit me on the arm. I had elk teeth prints in my arm and the bruising and numbness lasted for weeks. Very stupid decision. So, I finally got the chance to bite an elk back.
