It was an analysis of something completely un-game related meant as a joke...and why did I continue to vote for Ice? Because:

A) I don't know when my connection will go dead for a day or two out here in Iraq and I want to make sure I don't UD...and
B) Voting against one of the loudest and most obnoxious posters might create some conversation.

Seeing as I've accomplished both my goals, I'll consider my actions productive. :headbang2:

Well, because of the tell Beth did, and it doesn't look like my vote will make a difference anywhere else (unless someone else slips and I can convince the whole town),
I retract my vote against Mad and vote to make Beth walk the plank.

Good job, you got the train a goin..with your very first post, many jumped on and stayed there, then you voted her. I don't see how you think your vote wouldn't count on anyone else...if you think someone else looks like a pirate, all you had to do was post a case on them and vote them..others may of seen your point an switched.

I just want to say I will NOT be getting on the Beth train, she may end up Pirate, and yes she has posted some questionable things, but with so many jumping on no, I don't think my vote will land there.

As I tried to make clear when I voted...I have my ideas on other pirates in our midst, but I have nothing but a hunch to build a case upon. I could go out of my way to build my case upon jokes from the first few hours of the game, but I'm not...my decision to join the Beth-train is based on her slip which I noted, where she said the vote against her helped the town.

I focused on all posts since I went to bed. I didn't include HN's vote on Beth because it happened before then, and I completely forgot about it. I must agree, he needs to be added to the list.

And I've playfully harrassed Beth as well, before I realized everyone was and that I may have been caught up in the "train".

My vote will probably change again...we have another day before the day is over...and I'm sure someone will massively slip. Don't consider my vote on you final...just one of the best I have at this short time in the game. As I said, I can't predict when my connection will fail, or when our comms will be blackedout...and I want to keep it as accurate as possible in the case I do lose my ability to post for a day or two.

Interesting though, your vote IS on the "train" winner.

This next few post are a "train" of thought...

I agree somewhat. I myself am not convinced Beth is a pirate. I think someone saw the opportunity to use her avatar change as a reason to chase her down.
I questioned her on it but seriously,would you think that because she was sitting next to a small creek that would clue us into her being a Pirate?
I just wanted to see how many people jumped onto the avatar train. I think we have a few good possibilities for votes there.






Be more fun if you posted thoughts on the game and helped us get rid of the pirates or gave yourself away as one.





See I have a problem with this train of thought.

Why does a train have to consist of votes. Its just as easy and probably more effective to have a thought train on a person. The more people that think it then the more people that will be willing to vote that way, especially with the number of sheep this game has had in the past. If you get enough sheep to end up voting for your person you don't even need to put a vote there. You could wait and say well they have enough votes I'm going to spotlight so and so for the next day.

I'll be around for the next hour or so then off to a friends for football Sunday, be back around 3ish.

I agree with your theory on "thought trains", Ice. It has come into play in several games, though usually you only see it talked about indirectly with how certain names are consistent between many peoples list and the narrowing down begins with the votes ending up there.

I find it a little interesting that they commented on on Lchaps "train" post this way...they keep bringing up the "Avatar" thing, not always directed to Beth, but they are the ones who keep bringing it up over and over...then they both agree on the "train of thought" which yes, I do agree has been used and always will be most likely, just find it interesting how they bring it up like they do, in sequence with Lchaps "train" post.


Now, lets look and see who exactly was bothered the most by MGs pm....

Being an innocent, there's no way we could use the names on his PMs to figure anything out. He doesn't know who's who, just as clueless as the rest of us. I still wonder why they were sent to who they were, but it can't be due to pirate/innocent status...can it?

Sorry Rb, I love the fact of playing a game with you, but you have shown alot to me and what I have seen makes you look guilty in my eyes. I do believe you knew Mg was innocent, I do believe you knew from the beginning and had him in your sights from your first post of the game.

Yes, I seen where you said that. She very well may be pirate...I do agree with that fact, but I have seen alot more against a few others, then a avatar change and a possible typo.

Beth, you now have the opportunity to explain yourself before the votes are final tonight...I suggest you do so, and do so well. Did you notice that you put me out for bringing up the avatar thing to make me look suspicious then posted my quote on why I did it but you still have me as pirate?

You bring out HN as saying you thought LC was a past player and deny it then post that you do think LC is a past player.

I brought up JM and Beth because they freaked on a pregame post.

I brought up Beths avatar because she had said something about changing it. I saw this as a chance to see who would follow on it.

You're really reaching for some evidence LG.


As for Rb LC and I being a team I will admit we seem to be on the same wavelength but I know you know that we wouldn't all push the same agenda at the same time if we were team mates especially on Day 1. One of them might be pirate latching on to innocents but I don't think they both are.

I will say I agree you on Rbs post to UD MG. Reminiscent of his Its Nightfall post when Ogre was late to posting its night and they had an innocent lynched.

So far no word from Lupie.

Jpap didn't say much after all that reading either.

I'm keeping my vote in hopes others will follow and force Lupie out.
