Clown, I am really going back and forth, at the moment. Back and forth because each time I think he's got something logical to say, I second guess my instincts because I have been fooled so well before. Then I come to the point where CL starts discussing LC's posting points.... and it all seemed like it made sense enough.... sense enough that I didn't even think to check.... then come to find out that his theory wasn't correct, he missed some very important details that completely kaboshed his theory. His next post in response to the finding was completely ignorant of the finding but then posts about it after that, claiming that it had been a simple clerical error on his part... but still he has good facts and I have been one to have made mistakes myself. However, his theory on "what made Hooked innocent to the Mafia boss", kinda makes me cringe. I just don't think a veteran player would have went this road in hitting Hooked off the cuff, and I tend to think a vet would have instead investigated Hooked to see if he was Mafia, knowing he would be a valuable player for the Mafia team. On that thought, if the boss is a newbie, I don't know about that either, I mean unless it's a newbie that is well versed, perhaps as LC because I just don't know if the newbies are as open minded to thinking this way on Day 1 before any teaming up happens.

DD: Not being the typical DD I see when she is innocent. We'll see if that changes though as people have more opportunities to post.
I'm still thinking we need to get you an EPT kit if you're not mafia. Oh and since Ogre has stated how you have played when mafia with him in the past, care to return the favor and tell us what his mafia tells might be?

From what I remember of Ogre is he was more involved as an innocent. He went the route of being more involved as mafia too though... Basically, from what I can recall of Ogre is he's been pretty much both vocal or non vocal while being mafia and innocent. My thoughts on Ogre is you can't trust him too much, for once you get comfortable, it all slips out right from under you and he is the opposite of what you fell into thinking of him. This game, I would think he'd be more vocal due to his irritability but then making me suspicious of his silence.... but I am not ready yet to say whether he is Mafia or just a busy townie. One thing is for certain, I would think that he'd be here more to help us townies than he is rather than calling people ignorant.

Emo-Got very quiet, none of his post say much of anything and most barely make any sense, I could see him as Mafia...not sure on the "boss" though

If the mafia boss was playing smart I'd agree, but considering the hit on HN last night I could certainly see Emo as the boss that did that.

I see Ogre has already done my worst-case/best-case scenario thing...so I'll not repost that. Instead, let me go on my suspect list:

RB - Vote switches, in #450 he said he did it to save my *** and give me a 50/50, when he changed it from CT 6 - LC 4 to 5-5. Lying about his motives makes him seem more Mafia to me...if he didn't switch and encourage others to do so, (HN being the only one that did, and he would have made is LC 5 - CT 6) I wouldn't have needed a lucky save.

Clown - *****ing about the nightfall time being early so HN could switch his vote again...Erroring on his vote tally and making me look like scum because of it. Not much from his has stood out. I don't like how he "gave me a break" and then the next post has LG accusing us of being linked...chances are against it, but maybe they're talking and that's their master plan to get ya'll to go after someone that seems more innocent to them?

Other people I'm watching, but haven't gone back to make a case: LG, Emo, and Grins have my eye as well. Emo because his posts are looking more and more like a Mafia newb, Grins because she's barely adding anything to the town, just a post here or there that seems to add another person's momentum without new thought, and LG for the LG/Clown thing...but both of them have now retracted their votes against me and I'm trying to figure out if it's cause the train didn't take off, or because they truely are innocent and believe I'm on their team.

I still feel that RB is my best target, then Emo.

You are in need of Ice's spread sheet and you seem guilty of shifting the votes as you see fit....

Interesting that both LC and JM have said the same thing about me not posting anything of substance. If you two are communicating mafia you really ought to come up with a better tactic to discredit me seeing that I've attempted to back up any suspicions I've had. And JM I know that is hard considering LC is on a different schedule and has no access to an IM program (I learned that during the pirate game). And poor LC, won't be able to email with JM before she can participate on Saturday night. What a sucky communicating mafia situation that would be. :silly:

I don't see how she answered it perfectly there at all. Unless you and JM are both saying you consider HN a big enough threat that you'd have risked losing him as the mafia boss. After playing with him on a team before I'd have investigated him before hitting him the first night.

I have to thank you for your unwilligness to answer a direct question. If anything it helps paint a clearer picture of your intentions in the game which look dodgy now.

On Ogre you pretty much summed up why he reminds me of Mad's style.

On the newbie as the boss theory, these were the votes HN placed in the first day:

None of those players were brand new (CT or Emo), although he certainly did his share of goading them both.

LC isn't brand new nor a vet in my mind, he certainly had the opportunity to learn HN's style in the pirate game as I did. Maybe less so since their communication was in email form versus IM form, but it makes me doubt that he'd have hit HN. It isn't enough to make me think he isn't mafia though, especially with HN moving his vote off of LC with perhaps a suspicion at that point that LC was perhaps mafia and worth keeping around a bit longer.

Mg, well Mg is in a class of his own. I might give myself another migraine if I try to figure him out much more than to realize his tactic will be to foil any plans he can just in the name of fun.

That leaves HN's other targets that day as you, Cory, Bkw and Ogre. I've already agreed with you in Ogre being a tough read and why. He strikes me as too clever to off HN the first night. Cory is....well Cory. He might have done it. While you have said you'd not have done it as the boss it could of course be a tactic to shift blame but...Bkw has already come out and admitted that JM made perfect sense in why a vet would do it. So while none of this lets anyone off the hook it does make me wonder more about Bkw. Is he the vet that offed HN thinking he was a threat by casting a vote towards him?
