Now, it's always a possibility that Ogre is scum, but he's not a dope. For him to have been scum and actually meant what was being twisted into his words, he would have to be...wouldn't he?
I understood Ogre's original statement....others understood Ogre's original statement...Grins admits to understanding Ogre's original statement. I think that Grins is too good of a player to even find Ogre's statement remotely 'interesting'. Then to spend so much effort discussing it.
Keep in mind that at the time this all started, lots of folks were watching Grins and saying that something didn't seem right. Surely a lot of unwanted attention if you're mafia.... this whole 'worthy of discussion' episode looks to me like it could have been an attempt to deflect unwanted attention.
It really seems like a whole lot of something about nothing.
No one is saying Ogre is a dope but he does take chances. In the last new/old mafia game Ogre took a shot at hinting to the other team he was mafia, KOTD and I caught it and Ogre was voted out as mafia.
Here's my new problem. After all this, I would like to vote for JMax. However, apparently, she's been connected with me somehow. So if she's innocent, then I'll be labeled mafia. If she's mafia, then I'll be labeled mafia and her a sacrifice to save my shapely butt (that's what my wife told me to say!)
I guess the other choice is Malbri, but I hate to lynch the mother of those fine horses... but if it's a choice between her and Grins... eh... I'm glad there's another 24 hours.
I no longer think you 2 are connected. I think the proof leans more towards JM and Mal being connected and that JM was trying to attach to an innocent player.
Those aren't the only flags going off in my head right now.. Did you also catch the deflection technique she used last night when we were discussing things and she went after my avatar and the explaination why I put up from last game? There is more but that is why I have gone back and looked closer at her posts.
I wish I could see what you guys are saying but I don't. Even with Mads quotes,which were the 1st ones anyone actually pulled for evidence and not just a post of feelings she is evil, I thought her responses were good answers.
While I'm not saying that either of them are/are not mafia, as a matter of fact they both have jumped several points on my list. I am finding it extremely interesting that this type of behavior developed after several lists came out today and many of them naming Grins and others as suspicious and possible mafia. While I'm not 100% sure of Grins being mafia, and quite honestly if I could vote for 4 people today I would.. I'm just finding these two superficial votes as of this point.
I have played both on the townie side with RB (Jpap's game), and the mafia side with JM, RB and HN and I was the lead vamp she and the others of my team deflected effectively to keep heat off of me when anyone got close. I am wondering if this isn't the same tactic. In fact I'm very confident that it is the same tactic.
So you're saying that you don't think Mal and JM are screaming mafia to you at this point? Are you trying to protect the other team here? I think we have a team and Mal is the Don. As I said earlier JM wouldn't choose Mal but I could see Mal choosing JM.
At this point I'm just not sure which to vote for.. Before all of this happened we had votes on HN, Grins and ILB and Judge. HN is disturbing me as I really haven't seen him kicking in any doors and his play is normally more aggressive than it has been today. I haven't seen him really do much other than a joke here or there. Then we have Grins who had two votes on here yesterday and after the discussion last night we have seen her swing into what could be viewed as full innocent Grins. If I am remembering correctly she went through the Grinch game with no one really suspecting her to be the mafia overlord. Then we have ILB, who has done her best to look mafia yesterday and today and could also be a great choice as if she was a newbie Don they probably would do whatever they could to protect or deflect from her so she could at least get a replacement.. Then we have the judge who has been on lists and then IMO has done everything except scream "don't vote for me because I'm an innocent" however Mal did that for her to a certain extent to look even more mafia tonight.
I really am torn right now.

Grins...OMG talk about huge post, it is almost torture to make it through those with all the "you said that HERE", and THIS, and THERE...heck by the time I get done clicking on all your here's there's and this and that's I have lost track of what the **** you are even talking about. Sorry, but to me you seem to be causing more confusions with your posts then help...but trying to look like you are trying to help a little to much, IMO. Then there is the accusation by Blue that you edited your post...which really I can't see her saying if she didn't see it. I could be wrong maybe she did make it up, but I don't think so. If you did, I don't see why you deny it so.
I do agree that her style of quoting does confuse me a bit also as it only shows the quote and not the content surrounding the quote. I don't think its meant to confuse just it looks neater and takes up less space on the page though.
No worse then the people that quote but take the name out so you don't know who they are quoting.
I'm leaning but not heavily at this time(about an 7-7.5 on a scale of 1-10) that Mad and Clown could be the other team. Mad usually goes after more then 1 person but I think with all the questioning of Grins he has a target he thinks he can easily get voted out. Clown tends to get defensive and harsh with his words when mafia.He is following suit with Mad on Grins.But also throwing accusations at other players. The fact that Mal and JM don't stand out over everyone else to them makes me lean them more mafia then innocent. I think they are trying to deflect votes from their sister team.
My vote stands on Don Mal. At least it will keep 1 team down to 1 player instead of letting both teams get up to 3 each, we'll only be fighting 4 instead of 6 if we remove a Don tonight.
