Here's the thing Beth, you mentioned that Emo's 'not saving Ice' somehow played into your voting decision, but it did come after your vote...
You say/agree that Emo's 'not saving Ice' comment then caused you to not remove your vote from Emo. Fine. This would imply that you were on the thread sometime after your vote for Emo, but before nightfall, right?
Here's my question, though, how did you not notice that you didn't bold your vote? Your botched vote for Emo was in post #174 at 3:39 CST. In his vote count in post #178 (4:10 CST) LChap points out your botched vote.
It looks like post #174 was your last post of the day yesterday. If you had come back to the thread before nightfall, wouldn't you have logically started at post #174 (or before)? That means you would have quickly come to post #178 where LChap points out your botched vote and then fixed it.
Ice also refers to your botched vote in post #196 (5:26 CST) and RB mentions it again in post #239 (6:57 CST). How could you have missed 3 references to your vote?
Beth, it looks to me like you weren't on the thread when you said you were, and that you accidentally pulled a quote from AFTER you voted to try to bolster your position. IMO there's a pretty good chance that you're scum...
I was going to address this later when I post some thoughts/observations, but what the heck...
Firstly, I just want to point out that while we don't fully know Ice's status, I'm willing to lean him more innocent than I did yesterday. With that said, just so you know, it's really not uncommon for scum to 'befriend' innocents who they suspect are going to die (thru either lynching or being hit). The assumption being, that if they jump up and down hard enough screaming 'so-and-so is innocent,' that when that person does die and show up innocent that the scum will have instant townie 'cred'.
Kind of interesting that you had to be coaxed onto Andi...
As for Ice vs. Emo...
As I said yesterday, I kind of liked Ice for scum (but I like you better). Ice's response to the votes on him yesterday made me not like him as much, though. When Ice is scum, he usually gets very defensive when the votes start to pile up. He may start out calm, but the defensiveness usually creeps into his posts... I didn't see that in his posts yesterday, so while I didn't move him to innocent, I wasn't going to be the one to drop the hammer on him either.
As far as not voting for Emo, Emo was the town buffoon (in a good way, Emo
). There have been a couple of previous games where the town has moved to lynch the town buffoon based on some goofy comment. Usually someone mentions that so-and-so must be protecting the Don, and the votes immediatly pile up on the innocent town buffoon who said something goofy....It's NEVER paid off when that's happened. So I wasn't going to make a late move onto Emo either.

Hmm...this is what I would do when I was mafia last (I always rembered to fix it before I posted). I would say leaning innocent for someone on my list, but then put them on my suspects lists. Realizing it looked bad I would either knock them off the suspect list or change the description on how I felt about them. Sorta what beth did...she just didn't correct it.
I'm also getting annoyed beth you still haven't answered my question...don't want to answer it? This is the third time I'm asking....

Emo being innocent blows my theory of him protecting Ice out of the water. So was anyone protecting anyone? Or are they both innocent?
Well I figured either the Doc or trying to trick us into thinking the Doc so I went safe and assumed Doc. It was the graying of the word saved. Thats why I was cringing every time CL would bring it up.
I'd like to hear more from Beth RB Bkw and you Ogre. You all seem to be sitting on the sidelines and just throwing out jeers to help the tide flow in your favor. Anyone that sees EMO admit to being mafia, though he wasn't in the end, and would rather take out a bigger name on assumption is scummy IMO. The only way you'd know that Emo was confused would to know he is innocent.
