Everyone post Pics of your Tank Here

Hey Tom,

If I were you, I'd think about replacing the 12ks with either 10ks or 6500, rather than switching out all of your actinics.

Sorry, just noticed you had the PC bulbs as well.

I'm starting to agree with you. Maybe I'll swap out only two of the T5 actinics for 6500k and see what that does. The PC bulbs I have coming in the mail are 420nm so that might be too dark without at least 2 T5 460 nm actinics along.
Thanks for the help,
Tom

sweet tank tom, but once you start stocking corals, you wont want 6500k's.

the blue spectrum responds to coral's colors like a blacklight.

Tank is looking great Tom.. Any time you want to bring it by my place let me know.. I'll make the room ;)

Beelzebob,
You might be right on that. Now I'm going to have fish only until I get bored and then I might end up with corals and I would like 'em to shine. I'll save the bulbs and switch 'em then. Good thinking!

Salty Dunk,
Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.

Thanks Clownlover and the next time I'm in North Dakota with the tank, I'll pop in:)

ooja3K,
I've got 3 Korolia #4's 2 maxi 1200s, 1 Korolia #3, a Mag 24 return and a Mag 7 return. It's like a tornado in there, believe me. What you see on the bottom is actually settling granules from the LR. It's pretty heavy like sand. The detritus so far gets tossed around and skimmed. Once a week I send in a long tube and siphon out the particles from the LR. I do it into a sock and it's sand, honest. Still liking the bare bottom.
