Man, that sucks. Reminds me of my 83 buick skylark getting stolen out of the driveway of my boyfriend's house a few years ago. Has yet to be found. They could have at least left my skull bobblehead & stearing wheel cover.

Maybe the car just wandered off to die?
I sold a 87 Toyota truck with 250k miles on it and rust holes the size of your fist to a pastor and someone stole it about 4 months after he bought it.

sometimes, broken down cars will get towed as abandoned, and the owners not notified for weeks.. so it may not have been stolen.
