Just wanted to give props to http://www.manzanita.com

Contact them and ask for an aquarium package. I guarantee you will be more than satisfied with your order.

I figure 'Freshwater Products & DIY" is a good place to post this. It's a product and you place the wood yourself (DIY).

Go get some:headbang2:

Just curious how much you paid and for what size tank?

Here is what he gave me a while back:

AQUARIUM WOOD PACKS
Manzanita’s hardness, unique qualities and shapes make it “the choice” for aquarium wood. Our Aquarium packs provide a beautiful collection of sandblasted pieces varying in lengths and diameters. Sandblasted manzanita has a coarse surface texture and a clean, elegant presentation… blondish in color. We also do custom orders, so please contact us for a price quote.
ITEM # SIZE PRICE
AP1 12 pieces* 30.00 (up to 24” long)
AP2 30 pieces* 70.00 (up to 36” long)
*The number of pieces may vary depending on the size of those selected.

I got the AP1. I think shipping was $15+/-. I got more than 12 pieces, and they all look outstanding. I have enough for 2 or 3 30g tanks.

I read good things about this place, so I decided to order. The guy that runs it (Rich) apparently has a pretty keen eye for aquarium wood. He will also make custom packages if you like. The aquarium packages aren't listed on the website yet. He said they are working on that.

I also find the sandblasting to be a real plus. I'm sure it helps as far as curing for aquarium use goes. I like the blondish color too, but I hear it darkens over time and will eventually take its former color back.

I'll take some pics and post them up for you guys to see tomorrow. I'm betting you'll be impressed by this stuff.

lol, and you don't remember how awesome it was/is?

And I bet you enjoy them immensely.
