I don't like HBK, and I certainly think he has aged too much to be called kid anymore, but if he has saved us from ever having to see Ric Flair in trunks again I thank him.

Sorry just don't see it.
I don't really watch it anymore. Back in the day it was Randy Savage. I always liked the heals long before it was popular to like them. Best match ever was probably Steamboat vs Savage. Have to give Brett Hart an honorable mention as well.
Today if I had to pick someone maybe Triple H or Orton.
Probably the most under-rated under utilized wrestler in the WWE today would be Victoria. Vince has never really developed his female roster beyond bra and panty matches. Might be interesting to see her fight HBK.
